Who We Are

The Fire Goats originated in Grants, NM where they were responsible for weed removal on a work site compound. The Owner and caretaker of the goats left us all too soon and the girls, Rosa and Bella needed a new home. Thus Fire Goat Ranch was born. The Ranch focuses on Defensible Space and hazardous weed and fuel loading reduction. We pride ourselves on our environmentally friendly and sustainable practices. We want to offer the community a service that helps to reduce our fire danger while celebrating our love for the land.
